Northop Hall Hockey Academy is aimed at all levels of junior players, from the first time they pick up a stick to the day they represent Wales at U18.

We are passionate about getting young people to enjoy hockey and, at every coaching session, to learn something new. The Hockey Academy has a full range of qualified, experienced coaches approved by Hockey Wales to deliver our safe, fun and engaging sessions.

Any young player who shows determination and talent will be nurtured to achieve the highest level they can, regardless of which club they represent.

Our Academy has two primary objectives:

1. To attract new players to hockey, for our own club but also for the whole of North Wales.
2. To develop talent across North Wales in order to achieve several aims, including:a. To aid all clubs to grow stronger together and improve the region’s ability to compete effectively at national competitions.

   b. To provide a higher standard of development coaching for our most talented youngsters to encourage them to remain within our clubs across North Wales.

The Hockey Academy is non-profit and fully inclusive. We have a strict behaviour policy so every player is able to enjoy their hockey experience. We are extremely proud of the young men and ladies we have sent to represent Wales and North Wales.
